DRINKING WATER PROBLEM CORRECTED
Customers of The Parkersburg Utility Board were notified on June 5, 2020 of a possible problem with the drinking water in their area and were advised to boil the water before use.
We are pleased to report that the problem has been corrected and that it is no longer necessary to boil the water before use.
Repairs to the damaged lines are now complete and the pressure was restored to the distribution system. Lines have been flushed and bacteriological samples were collected from the affected area and analyzed at a certified laboratory.
