This project was the second major water distribution system improvement project since the Board was created in 1996. The primary purpose of the project was to improve flow volume for customers and to provide improved fire protection. The project included water line replacement and installation of almost 10 miles on new line, from 2 inches through 12 inches in diameter. The project also saw the installation of 158 main line valves and 37 hydrants.
